The best resource that I can find on Brazil is from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA):

Obviously, it is in English and not Portuguese, but it gives a solid background into Brazil’s energy sector. It doesn’t mention hydraulic fracturing however, but I get the sense from Halliburton that not only is it required in Brazil’s super deep wells, but more complicated than usual:
