Calling for Change: Life on the Fracking Frontlines
Frontline residents of the Ohio River Valley have first-hand experience of the impacts of fracking.
Air Monitoring Technician
Chloe serves as Air Monitoring Technician for FracTracker’s ambient air quality study of the Ohio River Valley. In addition to field duties, Chloe works to build and sustain community partnerships and to connect concerned residents to local resources and regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining the FracTracker team, Chloe facilitated several youth leadership initiatives in rural Downeast Maine aimed towards encouraging environmental education, stewardship, and self-empowerment. After seeing these projects through, Chloe returned to her home of Belmont County and is now focused on emboldening local families to find value in environmental stewardship and in improving accessibility to education, resources, and supporting local green initiatives.
In her free time, Chloe enjoys foraging for wild food, painting, and collecting vinyl records.
